学术资本主义视域下的美国研究生创业及其启示

Entrepreneurial Activities of Graduate Students in the U.S. in the Context of Academic Capitalism and its Implications

本文系统地阐述了学术资本主义从概念提出到理论体系构建的发展历程,进而从学术资本主义理论体系中新的知识流、大学内的间隙组织、公共部门与私有部门之间的中介组织和高校拓展的管理能力等四个基本要素出发,分析了其对美国研究生创业的影响,并提出了应如何正确把握学术资本主义理论的核心内涵,促进我国研究生创业活动的开展。

Since the 1980s, under the influence of globalization and neoliberalism, academic capitalism has swept the globe. With the increasingly frequent conversation between the university and the market, more and more graduate students with innovative and entrepreneurial spirit began to engage in entrepreneurial activities. This paper systematically expounds the development of academic capitalism from the concept proposition to the theory construction, and then analyses its influence on the entrepreneurial activities of American graduate students from four basic elements of the theoretical system of academic capitalism, namely new circuits of knowledge, interstitial organizations, networks that intermediate between public and private sectors, and extended managerial capacity in universities. Finally, the paper proposes ways to grasp the core contents of the academic capitalism theory to promote entrepreneurial activities among Chinese graduate students.
