Comment on the ＂Anti- Japanese Headquarters＂ ： Germany Background of Fu Jen Catholic University in Peking

抗日战争时期，位于北平的辅仁大学是重要的抗日基地，学校爱国师生通过各种途径进行抗日爱国活动。1933年后，辅仁大学由德国圣言会承办，学校由此具有了德国特色。北平沦陷时期，辅仁师生的抗日爱国斗争令日伪当局恼羞成怒，辅仁大学成为日伪镇压的重点对象。面对日伪关停学校的命令，辅仁大学校方积极活动，在德国官方的调解和学校的妥协退让下，辅仁大学的教学活动在日伪统治下得以继续维持。

During the Anti -Japanese War, Fu Jen Catholic University locates in Peking ,which is an impor- tant anti -Japanese base, school patriotic teachers and students take anti -Japanese patriotic activities through va- riety of ways. After 1933, Fu Jen Catholic University host by SVD （Societas Verbi Divini ） ,which thus have a Ger- man specialties. During the occupation of Peking, the anti - Japanese patriotic struggle in Fu Jen Catholic teachers and students turn puppet authorities shame into anger, so Fu Jen Catholic University become the focus of Puppet re- pression. Facing to command of Puppet shutting down schools, Fu Jen Catholic University take actively actions in the mediation and compromise of Germany and concessions of official school, teaching activities of which, could continue to be maintained at Puppet Regime.
