摘要
学术职业国际化可从国际化学术活动、跨文化观念与内容、国际化态度、国际化知识技能四个维度进行分析。对中美的学术职业国际化进行比较研究发现:中国学术职业国际化在跨境国际化上水平明显低于美国;在国际化态度上参与热情明显高于美国;在跨文化观念与内容上两国基本持平;在国际化知识技能上,中美具有不同特征。中国的学术职业国际化虽起步较晚,但显示出充足的发展潜力。
Academic profession internationalization can be analyzed from four dimensions as: international academic activities, cross-cultural concepts and contents, internationalization attitude, internationalization knowledge and skills. This comparative study indicates that Chinese faculty has significantly less engagement, but has more participation enthusiasm in international academic activity than its counterpart in the USA. There is almost no difference in the cross-cultural concepts and contents, but there are different characteristics with the internationalization knowledge skills between the two countries. Overall, our study reveals the different characteristic of internationalization of academic profession between China and the USA, both in the content and in the form. In addition, the paper suggests that despite its late start, China shows a good development potential in academic profession internationalization.
