摘要
基于2006年中国综合社会调查数据分析了互联网使用与我国城镇居民幸福感的关系。研究显示:控制相关变量后,互联网对城镇居民幸福感有显著促进作用,有序Probit和Logit模型及工具变量估计结果均支持了该结论。进一步分析发现互联网对幸福感的影响存在性别差异和年龄差异,男性相比女性使用互联网对其幸福感具有更大的积极效应;互联网对幸福感的影响主要集中在中青年中,在老年人中并不显著。
Based on the Chinese General Social Survey data in 2006, this paper analyzes the impact of internet use on happiness of urban residents. The result shows: after eontroUing for relevant variables, the internet use has a significant role in promoting happiness of urban people. The results from order probit and logit models and the two - stage least squares with instrumental variable also support this conclusion. Further studies show this relationship exist gender and age differences. Compared with women, the internet use can produce more positive and significant effects on men' s happiness; and this impact are mainly focused on middle-aged populations, not significant for the elderly.
