The imperial calligraphy is a unique cultural phenomenon in Chinese history. From the academic standard,imperial calligraphy is an organic part of Chinese calligraphy art history;Emperors unquestionably promoted the development of Chinese calligraphy by means of political resources,but their personal preference also inevitably produced certain negative influence. The imperial calligraphy phenomenon from one side can help to correctly understand Chinese historical culture,and it is worthwhile for academic circle to study emperors＇ calligraphy from extensive and multi-angle.
