隐喻学视角下“功夫熊猫”符号的中国化生产

“ Kungfu Panda ” as a Chinese Symbolic Representation——from the Perspective of Metaphor Study

运用文献资料法等,梳理"功夫"和"熊猫"中国符号的文化内涵,应用隐喻学理论构建熊猫意象中的功夫隐喻以产生新符号"功夫熊猫",并运用符号学原理对其进行解释。认为:"功夫熊猫"所指的形式是中国传统文化中"侠客—隐士"复合形象;其所指的内质是身怀绝技、藏锋内敛、临危不惧、敢于亮剑,尚德礼让、和谐共生、自强不息、隐忍不争,大巧若拙、从容不迫、寄情山水、随性逍遥。

The study adopts the method of literature review to explore the cultural connotation of Chinese symbolic representation,＂Kungfu Panda ＂. In addition, metaphor and semiotic theories are applied in the construction of the image of panda,a Kungfu metaphor. It holds that the signifier implies in Kungfu Panda is a complex image of a swordsman and a recluse in Chinese traditional culture; while the signified implies a highly qualified Wushu master who has courtesy and self-discipline as well as tolerance with unique skills but modesty. On the other hand,he abandons himself to nature in a calm and unhurried way.
