我国“大学文化研究”之研究——兼论中国特色大学文化学构建问题

Rethinking Research on University Culture in China:How to Build a University Culturology with Chinese Characteristics

我国大学文化研究,经历了"校园文化"、"大学校园文化"和"大学文化"三种不同概念语境的学术探索阶段,表现出由从属研究向独立研究转变的学科发展特征,逐步确立了大学文化研究在高等教育领域文化研究中的重要地位。从一门学科创建和发展的认识成果而言,近30年大学文化研究有着较多的范式运用和学术建树。在多元文化冲击和国家战略调整的宏观背景下,我国大学文化研究的学科化发展背后,也隐藏着难以回避的中国特色、研究范式、价值取向等深层次理论问题。把握现代大学的文化本质,立足高等教育发展主题,形成价值与实证相统一的研究范式,真正构建起中国特色的大学文化学,应是当前大学文化研究的重要议题。

Research on university culture in China has undergone three stages of development,evolving from the research on'campus culture','university campus culture'into research on 'university culture'. Nowadays,research on university culture in China has been established as an important area of research for studies in higher education. During the past 30 years,research on university culture has developed various paradigms and produced brilliant achievements. Under the background of cultural diversity and China's national rejuvenation,now is high time to rethink about the research paradigm,value orientation,and Chinese characteristics of university culture research in China. It is necessary for us to fully understand the nature of university culture,focus on key issues in higher education development,try to balance descriptive and prescriptive approaches,and build a university culturology with distinctive Chinese charateristics.
