重人情而轻神魔:论“西游”子弟书的叙事倾向

More of Human and Less of Supernatural——the Zidishu's Narrative Tendency in Stories of The Journey to the West

"西游"子弟书是清代重述、再现"西游故事"之说唱文本系统的重要成员,尽管它在总体构造方式上以百回本小说为蓝本,但在清初俗文学审美风尚,故事题材类型演化趋势,以及子弟书本身艺术成规等多重因素的作用下,作者往往对原著中神魔斗法的内容进行删削、弱化,反而着力表现、生发人情的内容,使其呈现出与同时代其他西游唱本迥异的叙事倾向:重人情而轻神魔。

Zidishu is an important part in the text system, which reproduces the stories of the journey to the west in Qing dynasty. On the whole, it is based on the novel of journey to the west. However, with the fashion of the times, the trend of the stories evolution and the rules of Zidishu itself, the artists cut and weaken the plots of fighting between gods and demons, and pay more attention to the plots of human emotion. This narrative tendency is the most prominent feature of Zidishu in the stories of the journey to the west.
