文章从基地、建筑体块和空间组织等方面简要分析了由约翰斯顿和马克·李建筑事务所设计的2013上海西岸建筑与当代艺术双年展小展廊六望亭的设计理念和空间特点,介绍了展廊与双年展的关系,施工上的缺陷和展廊目前的使用困境,并提出对这种类型的小型展览建筑在展览结束后的日常使用和发展问题的思考。
This paper offers an analysis of the design concept and spatial features of the Pavilion of Six Views of the 2013 West Bund Architecture and Contemporary Art Biennale, designed by Johnston Marklee Architects.It also discusses the relations between the pavilion and the Biennale, its defects in execution as well as the predicament it faces in terms of its use. The paper then addresses the question how a small-scale exhibition building like this may continue to be used in an everyday context.
