摘要
语音课是一门英语专业非常重要的基础课程,关系到学生的整体英语水平及实际应用能力。但英语语音课程的教学效果却不尽如人意,学生的语音水平普遍较低。因此教师应充分发挥其引导作用,将支架理论应用到英语语音教学中,系统地为学生构建最为合适的支架,促进学生语音能力的提高,以期全面提升学生的英语语言知识和交际能力。
English Pronunciation and Intonation is an important basic course for English majors, which is related to students’ overall English competence and their communicative ability. However, the teaching of English Pronunciation and Intonation is not effective enough, and students’ pronunciation skills are not satisfying as expected. Therefore, the teachers should make full play of their guiding role and apply Scaffolding Theory to the teaching process, aiming to improve students’ ability of pronunciation and intonation, so that students’ overall language skills and communicative ability can be greatly improved.
