Deconstruction or Construction——Lexical Transfer from Foreign Languages into Chinese

在汉语与西方语言大规模接触的历史中,社会文化背景、翻译的目的、策略、文本选择和目标读者等要素都在不断变化,因此,各个历史时期中西方语言经由译介向汉语的词汇迁移现象也呈现不同的态势。结合解构主义翻译观,厘清汉语中词汇迁移现象的历史和现状,并分析导致这一现象及其变化的文化背景和其他因素。通过分析更明确地认识到作为译者和汉语使用者对待本族语和外语中的异质成分所应该持有的正确态度。

In the history of language contact between Chinese and western languages, social and cultural background, translation purpose and strategy, the choice of original text and target reader vary in different periods. As a result, there are diverse trends in lexical transfer from western languages into Chinese through translation. Deconstructionist translation theory can be applied to analyse the past and present situation of lexical transfer in Chinese language and the factors behind this phenomenon and its changes to clarify the attitude that should be held by Chinese speakers and translators towards the foreigness in both native language and foreign language.
