Biogas slurry is the high-quality organic liquid manure caused by biogas fermentation, and has very high value in agriculture and forestry production. This paper briefly describes the composition of biogas slurry, describes the impact of biogas slurry fertilizer on crop growth from biogas slurry soaking, foliar fertilization, pest and disease resistance, summarizes the effects of soil properties produced by biogas slurry irrigation from the aspects of soil pH, nutrient content, simply summarizes the potential environmental risks of applying biogas slurry from accumalation of heavy metals, antibiotic substance and promoting greenhouse gas emissions, and forecasts the prospect of biogas slurry further utilization.
