On the Research of the Metonymy in Cognitive Linguistic Perspective

从认知语言学的角度指出传统转喻观的不足之处,并认为认知转喻观对转喻语言的识别能力更强。认知语言学框架下,对转喻本质的认识、分类,以及转喻和隐喻动态关系的研究大大拓展了转喻研究的范围。

This paper points out the defects of traditional view on metonymy from cognitive lingaistics, which hold that the cognitive approach can better identify metonymic language. It carefully probes the cognitive nature and classification of metonymy and the reac- tion between metonymy and metaphor.
