摘要
作为传统的工科院校,培养的学生普遍缺乏统筹、协作解决实际问题的能力。CDIO工程教育理念强调培养学生的工程能力,此能力不仅包括个人的学术知识,而且包括学生的终生学习能力、团队交流能力和大系统掌控能力。我们在大学英语课堂教学实践中,引入CDIO教育理念,学生结成项目组,以项目组为单位构建学习项目,完成英语学习。实践表明:这种学习模式不仅有利于学生的英语学习,而且有利于培养学生逻辑思维、团队合作以及开拓创新。
Many engineering students lack of the capability of overall planning and collaboration to solve practical problems. The concept of CDIO focuses on cultivating students' engineering ability. Engineering ability includes not only academic knowledge, but lifelong learning competencies, communication and control on whole project. We adopt the concept of CDIO and apply it in our college English teaching. All the students are divided into several groups, each group has one project to accomplish. Through the project planning and implementation, students actively learn English. Practice proves the teaching model not only promotes students in English learning, but helps students to develop logical thinking, teamwork and innovation.
