大湘西民族地区高职应用英语专业人才培养模式与课程教学探析

Analysis of Personnel Training Mode and Course Teaching of Applied English Professions in Xiangxi Ethnic Higher Vocational Colleges

随着改革开放的发展和深入,社会对应用英语人才的需求逐年递增,但大湘西民族地区高职应用英语专业的学生数却逐年递减,形势岌岌可危,究其原因主要是陈旧的人才培养模式及课程教学与地方市场的需求相脱离。因此应客观分析存在的问题,并结合实际做出相应的整改。

With the development of the reform and opening-up policy, the social demand for applied English talents is increasing, but the applied English majors at higher vocational colleges in Xiangxi ethnic area are decreasing year by year. This kind of situation is at stake and the reasons are mainly traditional personnel training mode as well as course teaching away from the local market needs. This paper intended to explore the current personnel training mode and course teaching of applied English professions in Xiangxi ethnic higher vocational colleges, and analyzed some existing problems objectively and put forward the practical countermeasures.
