我国高校来华本科留学生的通识教育调查分析——以江苏省四所院校为例

The Investigation and Analysis of General Education of International Undergraduate Students in Chinese Universities——Take Four Universities in Jiangsu Province as Examples

通识教育内涵丰富,覆盖面广。与先进国家相比,我国通识教育现状尚存在差距。留学生通识教育具有必要性和特殊性的双重特点。我国高校来华本科留学生的通识教育现状是:缺乏明确标准,课程分布不匀;选修课覆盖面虽广,但随意性较大,学校没有为留学生提供详细的选课指导,在课程内容、教学途径等方面都亟待改进。我国高校必须充分重视本科留学生通识教育,吸收先进国家的教育经验,全面提高本科留学生教学质量,成为真正的留学强国。

General education is a concept with rich connotation and wide coverage. There is still a wide gap between the current situation of general education in our country and some developed countries. General education of international students has the characteristics of necessity and particularity. General education of international undergraduate students in our country lacks of clear standards l the courses are distributed unevenly. The optional courses have a wide coverage, but they are too casual. The universities dofft provide detailed guidance of courses for international students. Either the con- tents of courses or the teaching methods need to be improved. Our universities should attach great importance to general education of international undergraduate students and learn education experiences from the developed countries. This is a necessary method to improve overall teaching quality of international undergraduate students so that our country would become a real powerful country of oversea education.
