The Ethical Bottom-line,Moral Realm,and Practical Significance of Confucianism

全球化时代的到来,呼唤着我们探索与建构人类共同伦理。着眼于国际学界有关"道德金规则"(the Golden Rule of Morality)、"全球伦理"(Global Ethic)、"跨文化伦理比较与对话"等前沿课题的研讨现状,致力于从义理上来阐释儒家思想传统所主张的"伦理底线"与"道德境界",以及这一对深含中国哲学智慧的范畴,对于建构人类共同伦理的现实意义、特别是方法论启迪。

The coming of globalization calls for an exploration and construction of the common ethics of the humankind. This paper focuses on the present situation concerning the research on the Golden Rule of Morality, Global Ethics, and trans-cuhural comparisons and dialogues about ethics in the international scholarship, aiming at a theoretical interpretation of the ethical bottom-line and moral realm in Confucianism, as well as its practical significance for the common ethics of the humankind, especially its methodological inspiration.
