On Several Philosophical and Moral Issues in Kutadgu Bilig

《福乐智慧》是11世纪中国著名维吾尔族思想家、哲学家、诗人优素甫·哈斯·哈吉甫撰写的一部富于哲理的古典长诗,它不但是维吾尔族古典文学的杰出代表,也是维吾尔族伊斯兰哲学思想史上早期的经典哲学著作。文本探讨了诗中道德哲学思想产生的根源、道德哲学范畴、人性、德性等哲学观点,指出其道德哲学精髓在当前发挥道德的社会功能,促进各民族团结与和谐发展方面,仍具有一定的现实意义。

Kutadgu Bilig is a long poem full of philosophical ideas. It was composed in 11 th century by Yusuf Khass Hajib, a Uygur poet in China, also considered as a thinker and philosopher. Kutadgu Bilig marks the development of ancient Uygur language into a mature stage and is ranked as one of the early philosophical classics in the history of Islamic philosophy. This paper explores several philosophical ideas conveyed in the poem and focuses on the root of the philosophical ideas expressed in the poem,philosophical and moral category, and points of view held by the poet on human nature and virtues. Finally it concludes that the philosophical quintessence of Kutadgu Bilig can still find its significance today in the promotion of social morality, unity of ethnical groups, and their harmonious development and in the solution of social conflicts as well.
