摘要
以国际三大检索系统SCI、EI和ISTP为研究对象,对高校机构名称进行检索,发现其存在诸多问题,认为论文作者对所属机构写法不统一、不规范,编辑或数据商录入、翻译等差错是造成问题的主要原因。从图书馆员、作者、期刊或数据库编辑、机构政策制订者或管理者几个方面,对规范机构名称提出建议。
The paper takes international three key retrieval systems, SCI, EI and ISTP as research object, to retrieve names of university, and finds that many problems exist. It thinks that unconformable or nonstandard wording of their affiliation of paper authors,and typing or translation errors of editors or database vendors are the main causes. Thus it proposes suggestions for standardizing organization name from perspective of librarians, authors, editors of periodicals or databases, and policy makers or managers of related institutions.
