On Discussing the Change of“必”in the New Note

文章对新版课标教材把"王必无人,臣愿奉璧往使"中"必"字意义,由"倘若、假如"改为"一定、实在"这一改动,着重从"必"在句中的意义、作用以及其历时演变这两个方面进行了探讨,从而认为新注的改用,既有了"必"的副词义,同时又启用了分句间的假设关系,相对于旧注,它更为科学。

This paper researches into the change of“必” from“if” to“must” in the sentence of“王必无人, 臣愿奉璧往使” in the new version of teaching material. Focusing on the sentence meaning, function and evolution of these two aspects, this paper accordingly thinks the change of the new note not only has adverb meaning, but also starts using the relationship of assumption between clauses. Compared to the old note, it is more scientific.
