From an Academic Community to a Professional Community:On the Organizational Transformation of the University Faculty

随着现代大学的发展,大学教师群体由单一同质化的学术群体逐步变革为多元异质化的职业群体。在新的历史形势下,需要高校管理者用人力资源理念而非传统的人事管理理念重新认识高校教师队伍建设,规划教师队伍布局,改革人事管理制度和薪酬制度,重构适应现代大学组织的新型教师群体。

As universities are transforming from the classical model to the modem model, faculties in universities are changing and developing from a single homogeneous academic community changing into a multivariate heterogeneous professional community. It is necessary that we apply the core idea of human resources, instead of personnel management, to understand the faculty building, to plan the structure of the faculties, to reform the existing personnel management system and finally to build a new type of faculty group compatible with the organization of modern universities.
