Lin Yu-tang＇s A Leaf in the Storm is a kind of English writing which is in line with Western readers＇cultural aesthetic and seeks to spread Chinese culture . The article discusses the cultural perspective and thought problems from three aspects such as coexistence of subject and conversation , mutual certificatioo of joy and tragedy , regression of humor and leisure to identify and convey the author＇s perception of life in the war and unique writing of humanistic care and Lin Yu -tang＇s enlightenment significance of culture blending better .
