Production of Space in the Process of New Urbanization:Inter-spatiality,Individual Practice and Capital Accumulation

新型城镇化不是全新的转变。作为国家政策的"新型城镇化"是对盘根错节、错综复杂和层出不穷的各种新、旧问题和潜在危机的必然和一揽子的回应。新型城镇化必须通过包括对"国际-国内"、"中央-地方"、"城市-乡村""公-私"等空间间性的调整、通过对个人实践的控制回应资本积累的危机及其带来的公平、正义、环境困境、日常生活状态等一系列问题。在新型城镇化的过程中,包括城乡规划与建筑设计在内的物质空间实践将生存在推进社会极化与抵抗社会极化的共同构成的尖锐矛盾之中,是各种矛盾冲突及其应对的结果。

New Urbanization is not complete new transition. As the promoting national policy, it is a necessary and complex respond to the emerging tough problems which all of them are highly related to the legality of power. New Urbanization will reshape the inter-spatiality of international vs. national, center government vs. local government, the urban vs. the rural and public vs. private, and direct the individual practices to deal with the crisis of capital accumulation, and the bunch of problems to social justice, equity, environment and everyday life it caused. In the process of the new urbanization, the physical spatial practice including urban and rural planning, architectural design will exist within the sharp conflicts between promoting vs. resisting social polarization, which is a spatial outcome of the conflicts and responds.
