USTRANSCOM, with its rapid projection capability, has been participating in federal emergency relief operations under DOD framework. Based on the construction situation of U.S. emergency management system, the paper summarizes the basis, power employment characteristics and execution procedures of USTRANSCOM support to federal emergency relief operations, and derives enlightenment for our military transportation eorps to participate in same operations.
