Comparison analysis for the conventional testing technique and injection / pressure drop technology applied in exploration and development of coal-bed methane is discussed. By actual test interpretation to Huo U1-1 well,permeability of coal is understood and the coal properties and completion quality are evaluated,which provides a reliable basis for the production potential and development testing of this well. The successful test also provides an effective evaluation method for this technology subsequently applied in coal-bed methane testing.
