大学英语后续教学是大学英语基础阶段学习的延伸,同时也是素质教育的要求,对于现阶段的教育改革和国民素质的提高有着重要影响。ESP是针对英语后续教育所研发的一种理论,对于促进英语后续教育的发展有重要意义。本文简要介绍了ESP教学,就目前大学英语后续教育的现状进行了概述,并提出了基于ESP理论的大学英语后续课程设置的几点措施。

Subsequent English teaching in universities is the foundation stage of college English learning, the requirement of quality education at the same time, which has an important influence on the education reform at present and the national quality enhancement. The theory of ESP developed for subsequent English education has important significance for promoting the development of subsequent English education. By briefly introduction of the ESP teaching and the current situation of subsequent college English education, This paperfollow-up were summarized, and some measures are put forward about subsequent college English based on the theory of the ESP.
