This paper provides an overview of the classification of the plasticizer,the kind and their applications. The potential hazards of plasticizer in food package were analyzed,emphasizing the three non-toxic plasticizers in food package and safety. Two factors including the kind and addition amount of plasticizer are critical to influence the safety of food packaged with preservative film.
