The definition of molecular imaging and progress of molecular imaging equipment are introduced. The ad- vantages and disadvantages of types of molecular imaging equipment are analyzed for clinical application, and it＇s con- cluded that multi function, multi discipline and multi technique will be involved in the prospect of molecular imaginge quipment, that is, multi-modal molecular imaging equipment will be dominant in the future.
