Analyzed and studies the causes of gas accumulation in upper corners in working faces of Dongfeng Coal Mine, changed the original U ＋ I type of roadway layout combined with the actual situation of Dongfeng Coal Mine, and took effective technical measures, which have achieved the desired effect, and can guide and help to solve gas control of upper corners in similar caving mining face.
