Starting with the function and working principles of shimmy damper, the performance testing require- ments of shimmy damper are analyzed in this paper. The scheme of the test-bed is designed, and the performance testing principles and methods of shimmy damper are stated. The designed scheme is valuable for other test-bed of shimmy damper.
