图书馆藏书零外借率及其计算方法初探

The Zero Lending Rate of Library Collection and Its Calculation Method

科学的藏书零外借率是评价一个图书馆可持续发展的重要指标之一。笔者结合工作实践,对往昔零外借率的概念及计算公式进行了修正,并运用修正后的计算公式对某年购进的新书、馆藏可流通藏书、某一学科图书的零外借率进行了计算与分析。旨在能科学地反映图书馆藏书的零外借率,进而可以将零外借率用于图书馆相关评价,建立起良好的藏书结构,从而最大限度满足读者的需求。

Scientific zero lending rate of book is an important index that could exactly evaluate the sustainable development of a library. The author corrects the previous concept of zero lending rate and its calculation method and uses the new concept to calculate and analyze the zero lending rates of new books bought in certain year, current books and books for specific subject. The author aims at reflecting the zero lending rate of books in library exactly and scientifically, therefore we could use this concept of zero lending rate to evaluate certain library and lead us to establish good library collection structure and readers＇ demands can be satisfied furthest.
