The Fortune Global S00 list 2014, released on July 7, showed further headway by Chinese companies. In all, 91 companies （not including those based in Hong Kong and Taiwan） were included, second only to the US with 128. SINOPEC moved to third, with total revenue of US$457.20 billion in 2013, and ChinaOil moved to fourth, with US$432.01 billion, both overtaking Exxon Mobil. China State Grid, with US$333.39 billion in revenue, moved up to 7th. Hence, China took three of the top 10 places, compared to the US which took only two.
