加拿大学者视角下的当代西方翻译研究

Recent Developments of Western Contemporary Translation Studies: A Canadian Perspective

本文根据国际翻译界知名的3位加拿大教授2013年在北外系列讲座的内容,结合她们最新发表的翻译学专著和论文,从文化外交与文学翻译、翻译女性与性别翻译研究、国际翻译流向与文化多样性、翻译批评的社会学视角以及口译史研究等方面,详细介绍了加拿大翻译学者最新的翻译研究课题和成果以及加拿大学者视角下的当代西方翻译研究现状,以期对我国的翻译研究有所启发和借鉴。

Based on aseries of lectures given by three Canadian professors at Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2013 as well as their latest articles and works on translation studies,this paper introduces their talks from five aspects:cultural diplomacy and literary translation; translating women and gender studies in translation; world translation flow and cultural diversity; translation criticism from a social critique perspective; history of interpreting studies. It attempts to present the recent developments of Western contemporary translation studies undertaken by the Canadian scholars and their research findings with the purpose of promoting translation study in China.
