王元稚:亲历台湾近代化进程的福州船政学人

Wang Yuanzhi: The Scholar of Fuzhou Ship Administration Who Experiences Taiwan Residents Modernization Himself

王元稚,福建闽县人。民间收藏的《哀启》文稿,乃王元稚之子王祖穀等8人"衔哀谨述"的,以此文稿可以推知王元稚生平情况及在台湾近三十年的大致活动,从中可见其乃是以幕友和教职的身份"在台垂三十年",亲历台湾近代化进程的福州船政学人。

Wang Yuanzhi, who is from Min county in Fujian Province. The manuscript of Obitua- ry which has been collected in folk is created by eight people＇s cautious and sorrowful statements including Wang Yuanzhi＇s son Wang Zugu and others. Judging from the manuscript, we can know Wang Yuanzhi＇s life condition and his general activities while living in Taiwan for thirty years, which is specifically the scholar of ship administration who experiences Taiwan Residents modernization on his own with the identity of a private assistant and a teacher.
