莆仙民间舞蹈“九莲灯”探析

Exploration of Puxian Folk Dance "Jiu Lian Light"

为死者超度亡灵的宗教祭祀舞蹈"九莲灯"舞,流行于福建莆仙地区,是集宗教、礼仪、艺术为一体的民间祭祀舞蹈。舞蹈的产生、演变和发展与"三一教"的祭祀风俗有着密不可分的关系,形成舞蹈独特的舞蹈形态特征和古朴典雅的艺术风格,是民间宗教文化艺术的体现。研究"九莲灯"将对其传承与保护起到积极的作用。

A kind of sacrificial dance called ＂Jiu Lian Light＂, which is to release the souls of the dead, is popular in Puxian, Fujian. It is a kind of folk sacrificial dance which combines religion, etiquette and art. The emergence, evolvement and development of the dance have very close relationship with the sacrificial custom of the Trinity Religion. The morphological character and the simple elegant art style is the embodiment of the cultural art of the folk religions. The study of ＂Jiu Lian Light＂ will play a positive role in the inheritance and protection of the Trinity Religion.
