句法视角下的汉语无主句英译策略探析

Strategies of Translating Chinese Sentences without Subjects into English From the Perspective of Syntax

无主句是汉语言中的一种常见句型,由于汉英两种语言的句法差异,使汉语无主句的英译成为一个翻译难点。在综述相关文献的基础上,在句法学的视角下讨论了汉语无主句的英译策略,认为汉语无主句的英译要以译品的主语来源为关键,这样才能使译品符合译入语规范,避免产生中式英语。

Due to the syntactical differences between the Chinese language and the English language,translating Chinese sentences without subjects poses a challenge to us. After reviewing the literature,this paper initially discussed the strategies of translating Chinese sentences without subjects from the perspective of syntax. It holds that the subject- predicate structure of an English sentence is the key to guiding our translating practice. Only so,the translation can be correct and idiomatic.
