张爱玲和多丽丝·莱辛,这两位成长于东西方文化土壤中的传奇女性,都以善于塑造女性形象著称。她们的作品都颠覆传统的母亲形象,刻画了恶母形象,描写了爱恨交织的亲子关系。然而,由于时代背景的迥异,对于困扰女性的因素有着不同的理解,两人走出了完全不同的女性困境和救赎道路。

Eillen Chang and Doris Lessing,born and grown up in the East and West,made the same attempt to picture the typical female in their works. Almost every role of female,in society and family,can be found in their works. Especially for the role of mother,both the writers chose to depict the pictures of bad mother and the love- hate parenthood in their respective works. However,due to the different social background,the two writers had different views on the obstacle of woman＇s redemption and therefore led to different roads.
