Effect of Acupuncture on Pregnancy Rate in Embryo Transfer

目的 :探讨在胚胎移植前后针刺治疗对怀孕率的影响。方法 :将 10 0例接受体外受精(IVF)或卵母细胞单精子注射 (ICSI)的患者随机分成针刺组和对照组 ,针刺组在胚胎移植前后行体针和耳针针刺进行干预 ,非针刺对照组同一般的治疗周期 ,观察两组的怀孕率。结果 :针刺组 5 0例中 2 3例临床妊娠 ,怀孕率 4 6 0 % ;对照组 5 0例中 13例临床妊娠 ,怀孕率 2 6 0 % ,针刺组怀孕率显著高于对照组 (P <0 0 5 )。结论

Purpose To observe the effect of acupuncture before and after embryo transfer on the pregnancy rate in proconceptive therapy such as in vitro fertilization(IVF) and intracytoplasmatic spermatozoen injection(ICSI). Methods 100 cases undergoing IVF or ICSI were divided randomly into two groups, acupuncture group and control group. The acupuncture group was treated with body acupuncture and ear acupuncture before and after embryo transfer, and the control group did not receive any treatment. Their pregnancy rates were observed. Results The pregnancy rate was 46 0%(23 out of 50 cases) in the acupuncture treatment group and 26 0%(13 out of 50 cases) in the control group, the pregnancy rate of the acupuncture treatment group being significantly higher than that of the control group( P <0 05). Conclusion Acupuncture can improve the pregnancy rate in proconceptive therapy.
