低温和长期储藏对烟草种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响

Effects of low temperature and long-term storage on seed germination and seedling growth of tobacco

以贮藏15年和当年收获的烟草品种‘红花大金元'裸种为材料,研究了16℃低温对种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响。结果表明:长期贮藏和低温均能显著降低种子的发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数和活力指数,抑制幼苗的根系和下胚轴生长;同一温度下,长期贮藏的和当年收获的种子的丙二醛含量差异不显著,相对电导率差异显著;同一贮藏时间下,低温和常温条件下种子丙二醛含量和相对电导率均达差异显著水平。由此可见,低温和长时间贮藏均能抑制种子的萌发和生长。

The naked seeds of tobacco variety ‘Honghua Dajinyuan’stored for 15 years and har-vested in that very year were used as test materials,and the effects of low temperature（16 ℃）on their seed germination and early-stage seedling growth were studied.The results showed that both low tem-perature and long-term storage could significantly decrease the germination rate,germination vigor, germination index and vitality index and also inhibit the seedling root and hypocotyl growth.Under the same temperature there was not significant difference in MDA content between the seeds stored for 15 years and harvested in that very year,but both seeds were significantly different in relative con-ductivity;Under the same storage period both MDA content and relative conductivity of the seeds at low temperature were significantly different from those at normal temperature.From the above results it was concluded that both low temperature and long-term storage could inhibit the seed germination and seedling growth of tobacco.
