“淡如秋水净,浓比夏云奇”——忆吴觉农的好友,茶人佘小宋、叶鸣高先生

Mr. Xiao-song She and Ming-gao Ye

茶人佘小宋先生(1895-1969)和叶鸣高先生(1915?-1992)是吴觉农先生的好友。佘小宋在上世纪二十年代,与吴觉农同在芜湖二农任教,以后又主持浙江衢州东南茶叶改良场的工作,他也翻译多本生物进化论。叶鸣高先生在东南茶叶改良场、崇安茶叶研究所研究茶叶。1954年后在浙江农业大学茶学系教书。本文根据近年来所收集的资料,回忆佘小宋、叶鸣高先生的几件往事。

Mr. Xiao-song She （1895 - 1969） and Ming-gao Ye （ 1915 - 1992）. Both of them were good friends of Jue-nong Wu. During the 1920s, Xiao-song She and Jue-nong Wu taught at the Second Agriculture School in Wuhu, Anhui province. In the 1940s, Xiao-song She was the director of the Southeast Tea Research Institute in Quzhou, Zhejiang province. Ming-gao Ye worked in both Zhejiang and Fujian provinces for the Tea Research Institute. He was an expert in tea plant disease and tea arhoricuhure. He taught in the tea department of Zhejiang University after 1954. This paper is based on information collected in recent years that recall a few stories of She and Ye.
