中国近代思想史文献的基本特点及研究方法初探

A Preliminary Study on the Fundamental Features and Research Methods of Materials of Modern Chinese Intellectual History

本文对中国近代思想史文献的基本特点进行了初步探索,认为近代思想史文献不同于古典文献,是一种"新文本",其基本特点是"四性"(国际性、翻译性、混杂性、过渡性)、"四跨"(跨文化、跨语际、跨语境、跨时代)。研究近代思想史"新文本",必须在继承中国传统学术研究优良学风的同时,努力探索采用新的研究方法,方能更加深入地认识近代中国的思想文化。

The author makes a preliminary inquiry into the fundamental features of the materials of modern Chinese intellectual history, suggesting that such material, a kind of ＇New Text＇ in nature, which differs from the traditional classics, are hybrid, international, translational, transitional, as well as cross-cultural, cross-contextual, cross-epochal and trans-lingual. Apart from the fine tradition of the classical Chinese scholarship, researchers should endeavor to explore new methods so as to achieve more accurate and more thorough understanding of modern Chinese thought and culture.
