Application of confucian thought including ＂benevolence,love,ritual,faith and harmony＂ in the clinical nursing and nursing management of geriatric department,implementing high quality nursing service for senile patients and with humanized management of the nursing team can not only improve nursing service quality and satisfaction of senile patients,but also help to improve nurses＇humanistic quality,promote favorable nurse-patient relationship,improve nursing work efficiency and management efficacy,and the connotation construction of geriatric nurse under the background of population ageing.
