英汉逻辑结果程式语语义韵对比研究

A Contrastive Study Between the Semantic Prosody of English and Chinese Logical Resultative Formulae

本文从搭配、类连接、语义偏好、价值极性等内容对比分析英汉逻辑结果程式语语义韵的异同,并就其中的原因进行探讨。文章指出:(1)英汉逻辑结果程式语通常被用来连接两个语言成分,表达连接意义;然而,在交际中,由于经常与一些具有相同或相似意义潜势的词汇搭配,它们因而也呈现出表达一定态度意义的趋向;(2)英汉两种语言内部或两种语言之间,具有相同或相似外延意义的逻辑结果程式语在语义韵上不尽相同;(3)英汉逻辑结果程式语呈现的语义韵的差异与英汉两种语言结构体系、概念系统以及民族特性、思维方式和交际模式等因素密切相关。

The present article attempts to make a contrastive study of the semantic prosody of English and Chinese logical resultative formulae in terms of their collocation,colligation,semantic preferences,and evaluative polarity.The article points out that：first,English and Chinese logical resultative formulae are frequently employed to connect two linguistic elements and to express certain kinds of connective meaning;yet,in communication,owing to their frequent co-occurrence with the words having the same or similar meaning potential,they tend to convey certain types of attitudinal meaning;second,from both intra-and inter-lingual perspectives,it is found that logical resultative formulae with the same or similar denotative meaning differ in their semantic prosody;third,the differences between the semantic prosody of English and Chinese logical resultative formulae are related not only with two different language systems and conceptual systems of English and Chinese,but also with the national personality,ways of thinking and communication patterns,etc.
