摘要
由90°光混频器和光电探测器阵列组成的相干接收机是相干光通信系统的核心组件。当前相干接收机的发展关键是如何通过提高器件的集成度来实现低成本、高效益。文章介绍了怎样将低成本的聚合物平面光波导工艺用于制备两种不同类型的90°光混频器,并通过45°反射镜实现了与背向入射式III-V族光电探测器阵列的混合集成。实验结果表明,这两种相干接收机不仅集成度高而且性能良好。
Coherent receivers that are composed of a 90* optical hybrid and Photo Diodes (PD) are core components of coherent optical communication systems. Currently, the key to the development of coherent receivers is to realize their cost-effectiveness by improving their integration level. This paper, fabricates two types of 90°optical hybrids using a low-cost polymer Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) and integrates it with four back-illuminated Ⅲ-V PD via a 45° reflecting mirror. Experimental results indicate that they both have good performances and high integration level.
