With the rapid growth of IP business and multimedia business, the access network promotes further development towards broadband and integration. So, an integrated service access network appears which fully integrates the broadband and narrowband business. It gradually merges the traditional telephone service and data business into the next generation network. ZXDSL 9806H equipment is the access gateway which provides broadband and narrowband integration under NGN network environment. It can realize small capacity of xDSL access, narrowband POTS access, support xPON access and meet the needs of a variety of networking. With the rapid development of optical access for replacing copper access, the application of 9806H in rebuilding community is more and more widely. This paper discusses the equipment principle and maintenance methods of ZXDSL 9806H in order to maintain the equipment better, use it more flexible, improve the reliability of the network and guarantee the effect of the users.
