摘要
高职院校主要培养应用型人才,但目前高职院校的大学英语教学却没有其自身的特点,仍然基本是本科院校大学英语教学的微缩版,难度降低,课时减少。由于大学英语的教学没有针对性,与学生主修的专业没有关联,导致学生逐渐失去学习英语的兴趣。高职院校的大学英语应首先明确其定位,由于其应用人才培养的特点,应采用英语国际语的教学理念,强调英语交际能力的培养和学习者的全面发展。在这一理念下,采用相应的语言,文化和语用教学方法。
Vocational colleges mainly aim to cultivate talents specializing in application, which is different from universities. However, nowadays the college English teaching in vocational colleges has no distinguishing features and is only the miniature version of university college English teaching with lowered difficulty and less required periods. Students lose interest in learning English gradually because the College English teaching is not related to their major. Vocational college English teaching should first define its orientation. Due to the talent cultivating task, the theory of ELF should be adopted in order to achieve the students' all- round development especially that of English communication skills. Under the guidance of ELF theory, proper methods of language, culture and pragmatics teaching should be adopted.
