An improved method for chinese character recognition

摘要 光学字符识别系统已经有了较长时间的发展,但是在汉字识别领域,依旧有着很多可以改进的地方.本文提出一个基于不变矩和分区特征识别相结合的新方法,配合一种快速校正技术,构成一种高效的汉字字符识别系统.最后,本文将讨论这种方法的优缺点. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system has been designed for many years but in the field of Chinese character recognition, it still has the potential to be improved. In this paper, a method of preliminary character recognition using moment and block principal direction will be present and a process of fast correction will be combined to make a complete system for recognition. Moreover, the authors will discuss the advantage and disadvantage of this method.
