我国消费经济学及其学科的发展历程,与消费在经济增长中的地位和作用的变迁有着紧密联系。改革开放前,重生产、轻消费的经济模式使得消费经济学处于悄然萌芽状态;改革开放之初,消费对经济拉动作用明显,消费经济学科得以建立和迅速发展;而之后,出口、投资拉动型经济增长模式的发展及其弊端的出现,使得消费经济学的研究以及其学科建设经历了从被忽视到逐渐受重视的变化过程。新常态下消费对经济增长的拉动作用更加凸显,消费经济学的学科地位也将日趋重要,消费经济学及其学科发展将呈现新的发展趋势。

There is an important relationship between the development of consumption economics and the role of consumption in the process of economic growth. In practice, the consumption economics is in the initial period before the reform and opening up due to the economic model of stressing on producing rather than consumption. However, consumption plays an important role in economic growth which causes the rapid development in the discipline of consumption economics. Furthermore, the disadvantages of the current economic development model which dePends on the export and investment are becoming more and more obvious and they cause a significant change in the importance of the development of consumption economics. In the steady state, more and more economists and policy makers pay an attention to the increased importance of consumption in economic growth. Thus, the discipline of consumption economics will enters a rising stage and presents several new tendencies.
