Autoimmune pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus

摘要 系统性红斑狼疮是慢性自身免疫性疾病,主要特征为多种自身抗体产生和多系统损害,累及中枢和外周神经系统时称神经精神狼疮。神经精神狼疮是系统性红斑狼疮患者死亡的主要原因之一,发病机制复杂,目前认为主要有两种机制参与其发病,一是自身抗体和免疫复合物介导的脑血管损害;二是自身免疫反应产生的炎性因子引起的脑组织损害。 Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease, which is characterized by high levels of autoantibodies and multisystem damage. Neuropsychiatric SLE (NPSLE) involves both the central and peripheral nervous systems, which is one major cause of death in SLE patients. Pathogenesis of NPSLE is complicated. Currently it is known that there are two mechanisms to be involved in NPSLE: one is cerebrovascular injury mediated by immune complex containing autoantibodies, and the other is brain tissue damage induced by inflammatory mediators originated from autoimmunity.
