拉美教育面临的挑战

Challenges for Latin American Education

摘要 拉丁美洲是一个多种族的地区,有着不同的地域、气候,以及多样化的群体,语言多样,其中西班牙语和葡萄牙语在当地最为常用。本文试图探寻拉美地区教育发展的共同属性。首先,总结拉美教育的历史特征;然后,指出教育改革的主要亮点,并介绍在全球化与国家改革背景下的周期性教育改革;最后,考虑到多元化和身份认同对教育发展所带来的影响,提出拉美教育所面临的一些挑战。 Latin groups of people, and America is neither homogeneous nor uniform. It has many faces, regions, climates, diverse although Spanish and Portuguese are the predominant languages of Latin America, there are a large number of languages that are spoken for many people across Latin American countries. Beyond this diverJ sity, it is possible to identify some common attributes in the region that have influenced its educational developJ ment. Taking into account of the recurrent educational reforms that the region have experienced during last decades, this paper focuses on prevailing characteristics of Latin American rizes a few historical characteristics; then, it points out some of the major education. Firstly, the paper summa- highlights of educational reforms and their cycles in the contexts of globalization and State reforms. Finally, this paper mentions few challenges for Latin American education, discussing issues like diversity and identity and their further impacts on education develop-ment.
